Suggestions for setting goals -
1 - You need to recognize specifically what you want for yourself in your life. This is one of the keys to proper goal setting so be specific and in great detail.
2 - You need to make your goal something obtainable for yourself. This is really important because if you make a goal for yourself that is so ridiculously unachievable then you will fail and this will in turn deter you from wanting to set more goals.
3 - You need to write down you goal and keep it some where that you see it every single day. This will keep it fresh in your mind of what you want to accomplish.
4 - You need to break your goal down into small achievable steps and then prioritize them. Then you need to write them out and use this as your chart for what to work on. The important thing to this part is by breaking it down you do not get overwhelmed and give up.
5 - You need to set a deadline for achieving your goal this way you know when to have it completed by. This will help to keep you motivated and moving toward the end result. Because if you do not put a dead line on it then it will be easier to become complacent and not work on your goal. Then you risk the chance of losing interest and not achieving your end result.
6 - You need to work on your goal in some way every day this keeps you from losing focus and interest in your goal.
